It's hot and filled with tourists...even in Greenpoint, which is kind of insane.  I know a giant disco ball in a skate-rink-turned-Rite-Aid is kind of neat, but how many European guidebooks decided to send their readers to it as a Unmissable Point of Interest?  All of them?
